Have a fun idea for an event? Let’s connect - we'd love to help make that happen.
Our kitchen is available to other plant based artisans who want to 1) collaborate with Goatlandia on food events 2) host their own event or class 3) use the kitchen to produce plant based products.
We can all benefit from getting a little extra inspiration in the kitchen. Join us for a cooking class in our new catering kitchen in downtown Sebastopol or invite us into your kitchen and bring your friends. We will introduce new, fun, local plant based ingredients, share food successes and stories and share recipes.
Let’s get together, build a fun foodie circle of friends and make those big batches of summer tomato sauce, autumn apple sauce or winter preserved meyer lemons. Everyone will go home with something yummy for the pantry or fridge.
Or, join us for a large event work party. Goatlandia often provides food for nonprofits and larger organizations. If you’ve never made 600 of a single appetizer, we can tell you it's way more fun with friends and you are giving back to your community, and giving back feels good. Light meals, snacks and drinks provided. See below for more opportunities to volunteer with Goatlandia Kitchen.
Goatlandia Kitchen provides a free, plant-based lunch to local businesses. The LTT program advocates for plant-based eating by sharing delicious food, recipes, and product information. Our goal is to help people explore what’s possible, and to inspire a way of eating that is good for our bodies, the animals, and the planet.
Passionate about food and cooking and want to help? Goatlandia Kitchen is always looking for volunteers to help with our food events. No kitchen or service experience required, but is always welcome. If you are interested in volunteering, please email info@goatlandia.org.
The purpose of Goatlandia’s Kitchen and Food Program is to generate revenue to support our rescue work and sanctuary operations; all while advocating for a healthier and kinder way to eat. You can help us achieve these goals by donating. The more we save in costs, the more resources we have to rescue, help our community, and advocate! If you’d like to support our program and our work, please email our Founder directly at deborah@goatlandia.org.
We recognize support comes in every size and shape. All support is welcome!

In return we can offer charitable donation receipts, credits and acknowledgment on our website/social media/resource materials, promotional materials, event signage and our gratitude.
We are committed to sharing our passion as an invitation to explore and try new foods and ideas, including different ways of thinking about our food systems and the impact of our choices. We have an opportunity, three times a day, to make food choices that promote health and kindness. We think that’s pretty wonderful and powerful, and we’re excited to share this with you.

Deborah Blum
deborah@goatlandia.org
Ten years ago Deborah Blum experienced a profound shift after witnessing footage of a slaughterhouse. She became a vegan overnight and launched Goatlandia, a farm animal sanctuary. Over the last eight years Deborah has shared her passion and talent for plant based food with thousands of guests as a way to both raise funding for their rescue work and to advocate for a healthier lifestyle.
Inclusivity Statement
Goatlandia Kitchen cares about what our community actually needs to make real life changes in our diets, for our health and the well being of our planet. We are committed to sharing our passion as an invitation to explore and try on new things including different ways of thinking about our food systems and the impact of our choices. Our goal is to be as inclusive as possible. This is not a food program just for vegans, folks who already shop at farmers markets and can choose to afford whole and plant-based foods; it’s for everyone. We can all use a little inspiration in the kitchen, a reminder to feed our bodies well, to listen to what it needs and do just a little bit better today so tomorrow will be even brighter.
ABOUT GOATLANDIA FARM ANIMAL SANCTUARY Goatlandia Farm Animal Sanctuary is a Sonoma County based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 2016. Goatlandia’s mission is to rescue unwanted, orphaned, abused and neglected farm animals and provide them with a loving, safe home at our sanctuary and also through our adoption program. We are all about making friends, having fun, eating great food, and living kindly and in harmony with animals, people, and the planet.
